South Ionian Flotilla Sailing Holiday
A flotilla sailing holiday is a stress free and relaxing way to explore the Greek Isles, sailing your own charter yacht in the company of other yachts following a loosely pre- set itinerary under the guidance of the lead yacht crew.
The English speaking lead crew provide daily briefings on the best places to see and visit, as well as guidance and advise on sailing and navigation. They are always on hand to assist with mooring and anchoring and organise optional activities such as visits to local sights, meals out and a fun beach party. They are very knowledgeable on the local area but are also on hand for any technical support you may need. They will generally make sure that things run smoothly for you.
Seafarer offers 1 and two week flotilla sailing holidays in the Ionian Isles on yachts from 29 ft (2 cabins) to 49 ft (5 cabins).
departures are every Sunday from 3 May to 25 October.
The flotilla can be booked as yacht only or as a flight inclusive package from the UK. A flotilla package represents exceptional value, being inclusive of yacht charter plus things like fuel, welcome pack, a full tanks of water and gas, welcome punch party, beach party and the services of our experienced lead yacht crew.
We also offer flotilla holidays in Saronic Gulf and the Northern Sporades in Greece, as well as Croatia and Turkey

The Lefkas Route:-
Sun: Fly UK to Preveza and transfer to Lefkas harbour for embarkation. Our home port is a modern marina and ideal for provisioning.
Mon: Meganisi - we have a choice of anchorages and tavernas on this quiet island which is almost the exlusive preserve of visiting yachts.
Tue: Fiskaro (Kephalonia) - lively and sophisticated but retaining some traditional Greek charm and character, a great place for people watching.
Wed: Aghia Efymia - a pretty village with a dramatic mountain backdrop.
Thu: Kioni (Ithaka) - quiet and very charming with a choice of tavernas.
Fri: Free sailing, visit Vathi or explore the uninhabited Dragonera Islands.
Sat: Sail to Lefkas for our farewell night out. 2 week clients continue independent sailing including Krioneri, the Dragonera Islands and mainland coast mneeting the flotilla in Kastos.
The Ithaka Route:-
Sun: Arrivals and departures from Lefkas.
Mon: Kastos - unspoilt and traditional with great swimming and tavernas.
Tue: Frikes (Ithaka) - tranquil and enchanting with a choice of tavernas.
Wed: Syvota (Lefkas) - a pretty fishing village in a deep sheltered bay.
Thu: Meganisi - we have a choice of anchorages and tavernas on this quiet island which is almost the exclusive preserve of visiting yachts.
Fri: Free sailing - visit Meganisi or explore the Lefkas Coast.
Sat: Return to Lefkas for our farewell night out (or 2 week clients continue continue free sailing).

Accommodation is on board our modern Bavaria, Sun Odyssey and Oceanis yachts which are comprehensively equipped for charter. Yachts available include the Sun Odyssey 29.2 and 32 (2 cabins) Bavaria 32 (2 cabins) Bavaria 36 (3 cabins) Oceanis 361 (3 cabins), Bavaria 40 (3 cabins/ 2 sh/wc) bavaria 44 & 46 (4 cabins/ 2sh/wc and Bavaria 49 (5 cabins 3 sh/wc).
Standard equipment includes hot water, electric fridge, CD/MP3 player, GPS, electric anchor windlass, wheel steering, autopilot, dinghy with complimentary outboard motor, swimming platform with boarding ladder and deck shower, bimini top (sun awning).
Bedding and cooking utensils etc are provided as standard. |
