Aussie Biker Tours and Rental Pty Ltd, now trading as Aussie Biker was founded by the current owners David and Michelle Pearce in 1997. David who is a life-long motorcycle nut has an extensive history within the motorcycle industry as a former franchised motorcycle dealer, motorcycle technician and motorcycle sidecar and accessory manufacturer.

The business commenced as a partnership under the original name of Viking Motorcycle Tours and Hire. After 18 months of trading, it was decided that the "Aussie Biker Tours and Rental" name better served and described the purposes of the business. In the year 1999, the partnership changed to a registered company with a new business name of Aussie Biker Tours and Rental Pty Ltd trading as before, as Aussie Biker Tours and Rental. The company ABN is 97 089 710 574.

The business continued to expand its number and range of motorcycles as well as market share for inbound fully independent motorcycle tourists to the point where the business quickly out-grew its first two locations. In January 2003 Aussie Biker relocated into a modern, spacious facility in the holiday resort location of Noosa, Qld with showroom, offices and a fully equipped workshop in-house.
