Two week Sunsail Flotilla
Sunsail’s new base at Wickham’s Cay II, Tortola, is the starting point for a two-week British Virgin Islands (BVI) flotilla holiday.
BVI flotilla sailing is ideal for first-timers as well as more experienced sailors and on the a two-week flotilla you will visit all the destinations of the one-week flotilla, as well as the beautiful anchorage at Cane Garden Bay, the awe-inspiring rock formations of The Baths, remote Anegada, home to colonies of flamingos, herons and osprey.
You can also enjoy a Caribbean BBQ with the famous stilt-walking and dancing Moko Jumblies, an example of the influence of West African traditions in the Caribbean.
The two week British Virgin Islands (BVI) flotilla offers views of over 60 islands which make up this beautiful archipelago. With deep water seperating the islands and easy navigation, this area is ideal even for those with limited experience.
Our on-site RYA sailing school is also on hand if you are looking improve your skills before departure. Summer winds are generally lighter and from the south-east with more wind during the Chrismas period and new year. Temperatures are consistently perfect at 26 - 30 C throughout the year.

Itinerary / Highlights
Day 1Arrive at flotilla base, Wickhams Cay II
With same day transfers available from Antigua you will be able to enjoy your first Caribbean cocktail while the sun sets onboard your yacht. Ask the barman for Tortola's famous ‘Painkiller'!
Day 2
The Bight, Norman Island & 4 miles, 1 hour
After a wild night at Willy Ts, head to The Caves for some spectacular snorkelling in an area said to have inspired ‘Treasure Island'.
Day 3
Sopers Hole & 9 miles, 2 hours
A popular colourful marina with good shops and boutiques for you to browse.
Day 4
Marina Cay, Tortola - 16 miles, 3 hours
Join the rest of the flotilla and celebrate your day's sailing at the flotilla Punch Party.
Day 5
Biras Creek, Gorda Sound & 8 miles, 2 hours
Enjoy a little luxury at the upmarket surroundings of the Bitter End Yacht Club with its views over Gorda Sound.
Day 6
Anegada & 12 miles, 2 -3 hours
Your Skipper will guide you through reefs hiding age-old shipwrecks to glorious beaches with fine white sand. Enjoy the famous lobster dinner at Loblolly Bay
Day 7

Day 8
Leverick Bay, Gorda Sound
One of the best BBQs you'll ever attend, Caribbean food, live local music and Moka Jumbie Skywalkers.
Day 9
Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour & 9 miles, 2 hours
Visit The Baths; an imposing sight of huge boulders rising up out of the turquoise waters and soft, white sand, forming warm rock pools.
Day 10
Cane Garden Bay, Tortola & 17 miles, 3 hours
This crescent-shaped bay offers a variety of bars and restaurants along its sandy shore, and is a well-known surf spot when the swell is right.
Day 11
Great Harbour, Jost Van Dyke & 7 miles, 1 hour
Sail over to Jost Van Dyke and visit Foxy's Bar, where the namesake owner will delight you with songs and tales of life in the islands.
Day 12 & 13
Free Sailing
Day 14
Return to flotilla base, Wickhams Cay II
Get together for a farewell group meal with a few drinks before you fly back home.
