A Dorian flotilla holiday is an opportunity to cruise the warm, clear waters of the gulf of Hisaronu on a family-friendly flotilla, ideally suited for those with some previous sailing experience.

Starting off from charming, unspoilt Orhaniye you will visit the aptly-named Paradise Bay for a spot of snorkelling, admire the traditional gulets moored at Bozburun and eat in one of the village’s charming tavernas and generally chill out, relax and enjoy the gentle pace of life aboard as you marvel at the stunning natural beauty of the coastline.

This flotilla is particularly family orientated in July and August when an Activity Coordinator is added to the lead crew.

Dorian flotilla sailing offers relaxed mornings with little wind – ideal for hanging out in a picturesque bay and taking in a spot of swimming and snorkelling – and breezy afternoons which promise some exciting sailing.

Summer temperatures average 30 C (86F). Winds are generally north-westerly, ranging from 10 – 20 knots (11 - 23mph), and are stronger in the afternoons, dropping to complete stillness at night.

Navigation is line-of-sight and distances between stops are short.

Lazy lines are in use at most town and village quays making it easy to moor up.

Day 2
Paradise Bay & 10 miles, 2 hours
A stunning bay surrounded by pine trees and warm creeks, where the emerald coloured waters host all kinds of fish and sea life. Join an expedition to a nearbynatural cave or enjoy some snorkelling.

Day 3
Ancient Loryma & 16 miles, 2-3 hours
South of Bodrum Peninsula, Loryma is known for its awesome panoramic views.

Day 4
Bozburun & 14 miles, 2-3 hours
Truly Turkish experiences await you at Bozburun, the small fishing village known for its traditional Gulet boats.

Day 5
Free Sailing

Day 6
Dirsek & 10 miles, 2 hours
An excellent spot for swimming, snorkelling and chilling out onboard.

Return to flotilla base & 10 miles, 2 hours
