Sailing is the skilful art of controlling the motion of a sailing ship or sailboat, across a body of water, it's also great fun! The infectious nature of this bug means that once bitten you will likely carry it for life. This is a great half day experience that can be enjoyed by the green land lubber and experienced sea-man alike.

The session starts with meeting at Christchurch Harbour and being introduced to your vessel for the day - a beautiful 32 ft clipper which is in pristine condition and has been cared for lovingly by her owner/skipper. You will then have four hours aboard the yacht where you will get to explore the interesting coast line and waters of Dorset, The Solent and The Isle of Wight.

Itinerary / Highlights

* Suitable for both Novice and Experienced Sailors
* Do as little or as much sailing as you wish
* Enjoy the Beautiful coastlines of the South west

You will meet your skipper at the start of the day before going to the Yacht. The Yacht is a modern and well-equipped 32 ft clipper; she has toilet facilities, two double berths, shower, radio with CD player and a fully equipped galley.

You will set off from Christchurch Harbour and have four hours on board in which time you will see sights such as Keyhaven, The Needles and Hurst Castle; your exact course will be determined by wind direction and tides on the day. You can help with the sailing as much as you want or if you prefer you can sit back and enjoy the trip.

The cruise includes tea, coffee and drinks while on board and the cost of berthing and fuel. You will finish the trip back at the starting point.
