Itinerary

Day 1 - Saturday - Arrive at flotilla base in Porto Heli
Our base in Porto Heli is ideally situated to enjoy the best that the Peloponnese has to offer.

Day 2 - Sunday - Plaka - 16 miles - 3 hours
Sailing from Porto Heli across the Argolic Gulf to the pretty harbour town of Plaka, with a long pebble beach and a dramatic backdrop of high mountains.

Day 3 - Monday - Ieraka - 25 miles - 5 hours
ieraka is typical picture postcard Greece, with whitewashed houses trimmed with cobalt blue. The simple quayside is home to a couple of tavernas.

Day 4 - Tuesday - Monemvasia - 11 miles - 2 hours
The historical port of Monemvasia is built on steep slopes; the beautiful medieval town with cobbled streets offers many excellent restaurants. A climb up a steep cliff path leads to the old town on top of the peninsula. The only surviving building on the top slopes is the precariously perched Byzantine church of Aghia Sofia.

Day 5 - Wednesday - Kiparissi - 20 miles - 4 hours
The bay is simply majestic. Slopes rise precipitously to razor sharp spines, from clear deep water. We moor along the quay in Chapel Cove, where there is fantastic snorkelling nearby.

Day 6 - Thursday - Freesail

Day 7 - Friday - Astros
Heading north from Plaka, your next stop is Astros, a bustling fishing village with a good harbour and sandy beach.

Day 8 - Saturday - Navplion - 9 miles - 2 hours
Once the first capital of modern Greece, Navplion is a maze of intriguing narrow streets and squares, with buildings dating from the Venetian, Turkish and neo-classical era. The impressive 13th century Venetian citadel overlooks the harbour and town with bars and a lovely marble square

Day 9 - Sunday - Vivari - 9 miles - 2 hours
The fjord-like inlet to Vivari is magnificent with sheer cliffs rising from the clear blue sea. The entrance boasts a Venetian mini-fort, which fell just a year after its construction in 1714.

Day 10 - Monday - Khaladi - 12 miles - 2 hours
Moor up in the bay of this small fishing town, look out for the turtles which are often spotted here and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere.

Day 11 - Tuesday - Freesail

Day 12 - Wednesday - Ermioni
Ancient Ermioni was once an important harbour, circled by high walls. Today, little remains of the city and the village is relatively untouched by tourism.

Day 13 - Thursday - Spetses - 10 miles - 2 hours
Just of the southern tip of the Argolic peninsula is Spetses, the island is a hideaway for many visiting Athenians, giving it a stylish air.

Day 14 - Friday - Porto Heli - 4 miles - 1 hour
Spend your day making your way back to the Neilson base in Porto Heli; there is plenty of time to stop for lunch in one of the many bays en route.

Day 15 - Saturday - Departure Day
You will leave your yacht and join our transfer coach back to Athens airport.
