RYA Sea Survival
The RYA Sea Survival Course teaches students the skills and knowledge that will help them to survive at sea in the event of an emergency.
Research shows that, of those that get into difficulties at sea, the people who have received appropriate training are the ones most likely to survive.
The RYA Sea Survival Course includes a two hour practical session in a pool and provides instruction into the effective use of safety equipment such as life jackets, life rafts and safety harnesses. Abandon ship drills are also covered.
This is a course recommended for those who intend to progress to Yachtmaster Coastal level or above and is esssential if you intend to get commercially endorsed.
