Sunsail One Day Taster

Sunsail’s One Day Taster course is the ideal introduction for anyone who is interested in learning to sail. It’s the perfect way to get a handle on the basics and enable students to decide whether they are interested in taking things further.

On the Sunsail 1 Day Taster course, you will familiarise yourself with the yacht and basic sailing techniques such as putting up the sails, using the engine, point of sail, manoeuvring, anchoring and general on-board safety. There is no set syllabus for the Sunsail One Day Taster, which allows for a flexible teaching approach.

Perfect day to see if you like sailing without the pressure of a certification course.

These days are excellent as an introduction to sailing without the pressures of completing a certification course. There is no set syllabus for the One Day Taster, but your skipper will take you through the basics of sailing. Certain routines will be covered and the skipper will teach you as much or as little as you require.
